Curt Swift

CURT SWIFT WAS born and raised in Plymouth, Massachusetts. He began playing softball in 1976 while serving in the military and played for 5 years in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Loring AFB, Maine.

Curt moved to Virginia after his discharge and started playing in Prince William County in 1987. He has since played slow pitch softball continuously for 25 years in Woodbridge and Manassas Men's Leagues. He won 17 County Championships with various teams to include Dudley Martin Chevrolet, All Star Sports, Bryan's Home Improvements, The Silver Bullets and others.

Curt was an outstanding power hitter and played on tournament teams that won a Virginia State Championship and four (4) National Championships. Along the way he was named Tournament MVP six times including MVP of the 2011 ISSA World Championship (50 AA Champs).


Danny Gregory

Danny Gregory

DANNY GREGORY WAS born on November 1, 1960 in Buffalo, NY. His family moved to Prince William County where Danny graduated from Woodbridge High School and began playing slowpitch softball in the County with C&J Transfer in 1979. He continues to play in the PWC Leagues and in local, State and National tournament competition. Danny and his wife live in Woodbridge where he is a Manager at Stringer’s Exxon.

Over the years Danny developed into one of the outstanding softball players in the Washington Metro area and played on a number of division winning teams in Fairfax and Prince William Men’s Leagues. Danny is a noted power hitter who normally plays first base or pitches. He organized teams to play in the Masters Division and when he turned 50 he began playing for one of the Nation’s top Major teams, IMS Dogs.

Danny has played on teams that won six (6) National Championships and he was named to the All World Team in numerous championships including MVP and Coach of the Year. Danny continues to play in the Prince William County Senior League where he is a standout Division I participant.

Pat Murphy

Pat Murphy

PAT MURPHY GREW up in Herndon, VA and graduated from Herndon High School. He has been self employed for forty years and he and his wife, Sharlene and their two sons moved to Prince William County in 1987 at Catharpin.

Pat has played slowpitch softball in Northern Virginia for over 35 years. Before entering the Senior Division he organized teams that won at the local, State and National level including the 1995 ASA Class D National Championship where 108 teams were at Battle Creek, MI.

He has been a standout performer in the senior division of slowpitch softball. He played on the Thomas Engineering senior league team in PWC that won eleven consecutive League Championships. In the Senior Division he played for Thomas Engineering, Dudley Martin Jokers and the Tidewater 60s where he was on many National Championship teams and garnered selections to the All American and All World Teams in National competition around the United States.
